She graduated Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris with the highest performer course under the guidance of Frédéric Macarez and Eric Sammut. Since returning to Korea, she has actively introduced various programs and lesser-known repertoires. Particularly enjoying new attempts through collaboration with contemporary composers, she premiered a piece by Jae-ho Jang, leader of the Tacit Group, at her 2011 solo recital. She also performed as part of the percussion duo Moitié, commissioning works from six composers for a planned performance in 2017. She was invited to ACL (Asian Composers League) in 2017 and Changakhoe in 2018 to present various new compositions.

Starting the marimba at the age of 4, she showcased exceptional musical talent as a soloist and ensemble member. At 14, she won the grand prize at the Korean Percussion Competition, placed in the Japan Marimba Competition, received the Talent Award at the World Marimba Competition, and won first place in the solo division of the International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in Poland. She has collaborated with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra, Chungnam Philharmonic Orchestra, Gwangju Philharmonic Orchestra, and KNUA Orchestra. She has held solo recitals at Kumho Art Hall Young Artist Series, Chosun Ilbo New Music Concert, Seoul Arts Center New Year's Concert, KBS Invitation Concert, Perkumania International Percussion Festival in Paris, and the 1st Seoul International Percussion Festival in 2010. In 2005, she was invited to the Taipei Percussion Convention as Asia's top female marimbist, performing solo and in quartets. She was also invited as a judge for the Taiwan Marimba Competition in 2006. Currently, she is a member of the Ensemble TIMF, Seoul Percussion Ensemble, and percussion duo Moitié, and serves as a professor at the Korea National University of Arts School of Music.
