Gyoon
Kim, who graduated at the top of her class
from Yewon School, entered the Korea National University of Arts early while
attending Seoul Arts High School. She later completed her studies there in
arts, professional studies, and the highest performer course. She won the gold
medal at the Boy Korea Daily Competition, first place at the Chosun Ilbo Music
Competition, and overall first place in the violin category at the Seoul
Baroque Ensemble String Competition. Additionally, she won first place, the
audience award, and the Mozart award at the 10th Iphra Neaman International
Violin Competition. In 2006, she won first place at the Dong-A Music
Competition, and in 2007, she won the gold medal in the violin category at the
KBS New Musician Competition. Currently, she is actively involved as a member
of the Ensemble TIMF, Korean Soloists, Hwaum Chamber Orchestra, guest
concertmaster of the Arts Orchestra, and concertmaster of the Ditto Orchestra.
