Violist Se Won Rah graduated from Yewon School and Seoul Arts High
School, and after attending Seoul National University, she went to Germany to
study at the Berlin University of the Arts, where she completed her Diplom and
Konzertexamen courses. She was a prize winner in all strings categories at the
Osaka International Competition and has collaborated with orchestras such as
the Rumania Transylvania Orchestra and the Prague Radio Philharmonic in the
Czech Republic. She has been invited to perform at international contemporary
music festivals in places such as Bonn/Bruehl, Baden-Baden, and Mattheiser
Music Festival in Germany, Schwaz in Austria, Paris, Lyon, and Marseille in
France, as well as in Hong Kong, Japan, and Slovakia. She has served as a
research member of the Komische Oper Berlin, and has been a lecturer at
Sookmyung Women's University and Chung-Ang University, and an adjunct professor
at Seoul Institute of the Arts. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at
Gachon University, teaching at Ewha Womans University, Yewon School, Seoul Arts
High School, Sunhwa Arts High School, Gyeonggi Arts High School, and Incheon
Arts High School. She is an active member of the Ensemble TIMF and We Soloists.
