Flutist In Lee studied at Yewon School, then moved to the United States to graduate from Juilliard Pre-College, obtained a bachelor's degree from Curtis Institute of Music as a BOK full scholarship student, and earned a master's degree from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music as a full scholarship student. She then completed the top performer course at Manhattan School of Music in New York, laying a solid foundation as a professional performer. She served as the principal of Wild Ginger Philharmonic, Cincinnati Starling Chamber Orchestra, and a member of the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland, establishing herself not only as a soloist but also as a professional orchestra player. After returning to Korea, she actively performed as the principal player of Gunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra and as a guest principal for many excellent orchestras. During her studies abroad, she held various solo concerts, including at New York Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and New York WQXR Radio's invited solo concert for new performers.
After returning to Korea, she was selected as an emerging artist by the Korean Arts Council and one of the top 10 flutists in Korea by "Flute &". She was invited to perform at the 50th anniversary of Korea-Australia diplomatic relations closing concert in Sydney and the Shanghai Wind Festival in China. She actively collaborated with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra eight times, as well as with Tokyo Universal Philharmonic, W Philharmonic Orchestra, and KT Chamber Orchestra in chamber music performances. She has served as a lecturer at Chung-Ang University, Chung-Ang University Graduate School, and Kangnam University. Currently, she is a visiting professor at Hyupsung University and teaches at Soongsil University, while performing as a member of Ensemble TIMF, Korea Festival Ensemble, Pulim Ensemble, Ensemble Allegro, Flute Ensemble Piri, Love Flute Choir, and as a Powell Artist.
