Clarinetist Hyo Dan Cho graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School and Seoul National University College of Music, then went to Germany and graduated from Mannheim National University of Music with top marks. She won first place in the Music Journal Competition and second place in the Korea Electric Power Corporation Arts FLE Competition. She has collaborated with the New Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Charity Chamber Orchestra, Seoul Millennium Society Orchestra, and Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally, she has participated and performed in master classes with world-renowned clarinetists such as Alessandro Carbonare, Michel Lethiec, Guy Deplus, Michel Arrignon, and Gerhard Starke, continuously expanding her skills.
As a member of the Ensemble TIMF, she performed in European tour invitation concerts at the Klangspuren Festival in Austria, Vatican City in Italy, Athens in Greece, and Geneva in Switzerland. She also performed in the Kumho Art Hall Beautiful Thursday Series and the opening commemorative concert at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center. She has played as a guest member of leading domestic orchestras such as the KBS Symphony Orchestra, Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra, Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, and Korean Symphony Orchestra. Currently, she is active as a member of the Ensemble TIMF and Seoul Clarinet Ensemble, while also nurturing the next generation at Dong-a University and Sunhwa Arts High School.
